Vacations at Allegany Mountain Resort at Rainbow Lake are an experience like no other. Whether it's a breathtaking view of Rainbow Lake, the feel of crisp morning air, or enjoying the best vacation ever, there's a sense of wonderment here that feels real and genuine. Allegany Mountain Resort at Rainbow Lake offers 725 spacious RV sites surrounding Rainbow Lake. We also have beautiful hillside campsites overlooking the lake nestled in nature. Sites have water and electric hook-up. Each site allows for an RV, 2 additional vehicles and 1 golf cart.
We currently offer fully equipped one or two bedroom rental units for those who do not own an RV.
You are welcome to bring your own chairs and lawn furniture to personalize your site during your stay.

Security
Allegany Mountain Resort is a secure gated resort. You must check-in upon arrival. There is 24 hour inside security.
Restaurant & Club Houses
Unique to most RV parks and camping resorts, Allegany Mountain Resort has an Adult Lodge, Restaurant and a beautiful Dining Room. The Adult Lodge has an attached large indoor swimming pool and hot tub. There is a Billiards Pool Table room upstairs in the Adult Lodge including a very nice Library.
Feel free to participate at the Log Cabin where activities such as Bingo, fund raisers, Chinese auctions, other events and crafts take place. Also stop by and see the unique Children's Craft Cabin while you are here. Allegany Mountain Resort has a great Activities Staff to offer many other enjoyable events to suit just about everyone for fun and recreation.

Swimming Pools & Hot Tub
We are pleased to offer 3 beautiful swimming pools and a hot tub for our guests to enjoy. Two of our pools are outdoors viewing the magnificent Rainbow Lake with a Poolside Café for your enjoyment. An indoor pool and hot tub are offered for those who want to stay out of the sun or when the weather is not suitable for outdoor swimming.
Rainbow Lake Boating & Fishing
At Allegany Mountain Resort one of the first things people come for is our approximately 70 acre freshwater, spring-fed Rainbow Lake and two additional ponds. It is RV Camping at it's best for those who love to fish. For fitness buffs or those of you who enjoy a scenic walk or bird-watching there is a walking trail around the lake that is approximately a mile and a half.
Campers of all ages love to fish for bass, perch, bluegill, crappie, bullhead and catfish. Our boathouse offers a selection of bait and fishing supplies for your entire family.
Boating is allowed on the beautiful lake. Paddleboats, kayaks and canoes are available at our boathouse for your enjoyment. Guests are also welcome to bring their own boats, as long as they are not motorized. And please remember safety first when going on the water with children. Always make sure they wear a life jacket.
Sports & Fitness
In addition to the walking trail that encompasses Rainbow Lake, there are miles of hiking trails nearby for those who enjoy long nature walks. Many campers enjoy the breathtaking views and local wildlife such as deer, rabbits, geese, fox, racoons, ducks, turtles and beavers.
