Allegany Mountain Resort at Rainbow Lake is located in Western New York State's Allegany Mountain Region near Ellicottville, New York. The Resort spans 310 acres of breathtaking countryside with camping that surrounds the entire majestic 70 acre Rainbow Lake. This setting truly separates us from all other camping resorts. We are just 10 minutes from Ellicottville, (the village of festivals). Ellicottville has some of the finest festivals in the country and it is also the home of Holiday Valley Ski Resort and the Sky High Adventure Park.

Allegany Mountain Resort operates on a different premise than your typical public campground, as it caters to a membership base that wants a safe family camping environment that’s fun and invigorating, and at the same time, keeping the cost of camping affordable for the average families in New York, Pennsylvania, Canada and surrounding states where everyone can enjoy vacations on a continuing basis. With many State Parks across the U.S. shutting down and the cost of public camping doubling every ten years, it is easy to see why so many vacationers and campers are discovering the wonderful world of vacations and camping at Allegany Mountain Resort. NO COST AMENTIES AND ACTIVITIES
In most resorts and campgrounds, the cost of amenities and activities can be quite expensive, especially if you have young active children or grandchildren. Allegany Mountain Resort boasts of having numerous FREE amenities and activities with plenty to do. This includes 3 swimming pools, 1 indoor pool including a hot tub and 2 outdoor pools, paddle boats, kayaks, canoes and row boats just waiting for you to enjoy at the boat house. Other free amenities include miniature golf, horseshoes, volleyball, tennis, basketball, bocce ball, lake walking trail, indoor and outdoor movies, library, weekend DJ dancing, entertainment and line dancing. The fishing is abundant in our gorgeous Rainbow Lake.

We have superior events, “Themed Weekends” with activities for all ages including scheduled entertainment, fun classes, carnivals, food fests, July 4TH fireworks, car shows, fishing derby’s, Christmas in July, Halloween festivities and the list goes on. You’ll have the time of your life!

CAFÉ, STORE AND ADULT LODGE
We have great food at the Poolside Café where you’ll enjoy terrific breakfasts, lunches, desserts and dinners at very reasonable prices, including our famous Friday night “Fish Fry” dinners. We serve barbecued steak and chicken full course dinners Saturday nights at the Adult Lodge, and throughout the season you’ll enjoy our other special occasion outdoor BBQ’s. Our Country Store is stalked with food, drinks, camping and RV supplies, ice and all sorts of gifts, toys, jewelry and clothing.

RESERVATIONS (NO HEADACHES HERE)

Another camping privilege for the members of Allegany Mountain Resort is the right to have a reservation without having to book months ahead. Our staff in the reservations office is trained to make your vacations simple and easy. Our members can make a reservation on the same day they want to arrive; it doesn’t get any better than that!

TRAVEL AND ADVENTURE SEE OTHER PARTS OF THE COUNTRY

For the family who wants to travel and explore the beautiful U.S., Allegany Mountain Resort has entered into a camping exchange agreement with other 4 and 5 star camping resorts all across North America. This program allows you to regularly camp with us at Allegany Mountain Resort, and it allows you to see the rest of the U.S., our great North America, at a camping site cost of under $75 for an entire week.

OWN YOUR OWN CAMPSITE
COME ALL YOU WANT

Allegany Mountain Resort offers an alternative for those who have decided they no longer want to pull their camper and want to “nestle down” and enjoy our gorgeous resort. You have the opportunity of having your very own “always reserved campsite.” You may choose a site that will be your own, for years to come. We have many members who are Snowbirds who stay in our resort all summer and return to Florida for the winter.

CABIN RENTALS
(YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CAMPER)

We understand that many families do not own a camper or an RV, which is why Allegany Mountain Resort offers cabin rentals (at special member rates), so everyone can enjoy the atmosphere of Rainbow Lake. These lake view Cabins with stunning views across the lake, are equipped with kitchen, pots and pans, cooking supplies, dinnerware, utensils, refrigerator, bathroom and bedrooms, just bring your own towels, linens and enjoy.
